is london-based, essex-born, capri-owning,

anyone he can con into playing with him.

ones, lloyd cole, robyn hitchcock and kevin ayers.
bromide
has no idea so will take their word for it.
so far there have been three albums on his own scratchy
records label –
iscariot heart, no.space.anymore.even.inbetween.words
and last year’s ‘the trouble with.. bromide’.
along the way he’s shared stages with vic
chesnutt, mark eitzel,
darren hayman, erlend oye, suzanne
rhatigan, the fuzztones,
the rocks, simon fisher turner,
katy carr and NY anti-folker
major matt mason.

reviews for ‘the trouble with... bromide’: “ultra-catchy, jangly acoustic pop that
reminds you of lloyd cole,
teenage fanclub or american
music club” soundsxp.com “memorable slices of
acoustic whimsy” *** Q magazine “An off-kilter look at the traumas, troubles, and triumphs of love Berridge has an air of a man at ease with his emotions, able to take the hits and still come back fighting for more. ‘Looking For Aliens’ would have even the most depressed student up on the dancefloor stretching their drainpipes.. whilst his take on GBV’s ‘Game Of Pricks’ is worthy of the old dog’s themselves.” americana-uk.com + some live
