/ ‘saddest thing (that didn’t matter in the world)’ "A

bromide ‘i remember’ cd album SR 00026 + download SR 00027 released 26th
jan 2015 distributed
by cargo "Combining
bittersweet elements and steeped in the aesthetic of late 80s and early 90s
US scene, Bromide have created a quintessential alt-rock / indie album with
no shortage of tunes or energy" whisperinandhollerin.co.uk "‘I
Remember’ is a brisk, snappy affair, which combines super-melodicism
with athletic, abrasive guitars. Berridge’s
confessional lyrics pull off the double feat of being both refreshingly
down-to-earth and also angular at the same time"

SR 00025 album released 9th September 2013 distributed by cargo "With [Spitfire],
the A-Grades have effortlessly succeeded in taking everything that makes them
such a great band and wrapping it up into 45 minutes of glam-pop bliss" pure rawk “This was my
introduction to Jonny Cola And The A Grades. It’s
left me intrigued, a little baffled and relieved that there are still young
bands out there with the ambition to aim for the stars and the talent to
succeed for the most part. Most bands that I love are doomed to die in
obscurity and poverty. Just this once people, prove me wrong. They deserve
better” louderthanwar "Thinking man's glam
... the swirling coolness of Bowie teetering on the brink of Queen
over-the-top theatrics" Vive le Rock buy cd from amazon buy vinyl from amazon download from itunes |

SR 00021 released 3rd april 2013
distributed by cargo + special limited edition 7 inch orange vinyl SR
00022 available here “Strutting guitars, elegant Queenesque
piano, wandering Bowie style chords, and Genesis-era Gabriel vocal tones with
a touch more camp. This lot could be massive given a
real studio budget and a publicity push” Record
Collector "Magnificent and majestic,
bliss kissed with a stunning glam retro vibe that irrefutably tugs at a
‘different class’ era Pulp styled outsider-ism whilst clipped with Butler-esque ‘dog man star’ shenanigans and tailored with just
enough strut cooled sassiness to have you wondering if the blighter’s been
time tunnelled from a ‘73 edition of Top Of The Pops” godisinthetv download from itunes |

SR 29112 released 3rd
december 2012 distributed by cargo "Lush, largely instrumental, cut-up music that tweaks memories of
everyone from Yello and Stereolab
to Denim.. Spetz’s
restless imagination wins the day.” Uncut “It is sweetness
and it is light and it is 42 minutes and 37 seconds worth of moon age
confectionery for our modern times” godisinthetv “Breathtakingly
brilliant” pennyblackmusic “Breakbeats, samba, stolen dubstep
basslines and crunching rock riffs.. With the colour of music currently a dull beige
(Mumford/Adele/ Sande et al), artists who put 2 and
2 together and come up with anything but 4 are needed now more than ever, add
spetz to the list of beautiful outsiders.” 8.6/10 withguitars buy cd from amazon download from itunes |

fabulous first studio album in fifteen years from Bromide..
captures the momentary nature of life, and does so magnificently" pennyblackmusic “Bromide’s songs have a relaxed storytelling style, they’re not
in a hurry to impress, happy to await their election into the hall of fame.. They exist in the margins where all the interesting
notes are made.” americana-uk “Simon Berridge's
voice is as strong as ever, with the songwriter only gaining in sound and
fury” clashmusic “An album to cherish.. ‘Small Rewards’ has an infectious pop feel to it

mums favourite supermarket Iceland in a way only Suede or Morrisey

the rocks ‘yessssssss!!!!’ cd singles
compilation SR 55552 released april 2004 (europe only) distributed by cargo collection of the rocks’ first 3 singles on
scratchy. the rocks were part of a vibrant early noughties
live music scene in london energised by the tidal
wave of new music from the states that included the strokes, white stripes, interpol and yeah yeah yeahs. their gigs would elasticate from chaos to genius sometimes within a single
song.. if they managed to get to the end of it.
given their appetite for destruction maybe it was inevitable that their debut
album proper ‘asking for trouble’ would end up in the shadow of their myth -
this early snapshot however captures a band who were having too much fun to
care what the future might hold.. cd available again soon download from amazon |

the rocks ‘we got it’ /
‘the bomb’ AA cd
single SR 77342 + 7 inch
SR 01092 released july
2003 distributed by cargo ‘Specialising
in off-the-wall rock’n’roll and delighting in the
most shambolic of live shows, The Rocks’ second single throws a subtle groove
into the mix (‘We Got it’) before going super-cool and obscure (The Bomb’).
Given time this self-destructive art offensive could do great things.’ Rocksound ’A
track that not only declares it’s confidence, but
demonstrates it. A bouncing Motown
bass and tickling drums define the groove, before James Taylor’s Princey falsetto enters, then letting his larynx rip into
the chorus. Combined with the thrashier ‘The Bomb’,
this is a real statement of intent from one of the few British garage
hopefuls.’ X-Ray buy

remain so. It’s institutionalised England gone mad.
It’s everything that means everything. It’s loud. It’s hope. It’s god. And
it’s fucking alive man, it’s fucking alive..’ The Fly ‘They have the most pissed sounding vocalist since
Shane MacGowan.. When he
screams ‘JUST F**KING LEAVE IT’ during ‘Everybody In The Place’ it’s easy to
imagine that he really is in the middle of a fight, and it’s quite likely
that he started it.’ Kerrang buy cd from amazon |
